A New Website Dawns For Gap Connah's Quay FC
The new official website was launched last week and can be found at www.gap-fc.co.uk
Chief executive Stewart Roberts said that the development of a new Official Club Website was given a high priority and worked closely with Andrew Lincoln, webmaster of welsh-premier.com and myself to develop an attractive and informative new site befitting of Nomads status as a progressive and ambitious Welsh Premier League club.
The previous free "Sportnetwork" hosted site has served the club well over the past three and a half years. With its Headline Story, 4 Feature Story sections, message board, excellent archives, plus unlimited links, it provides for a wealth of information. On the downside, it is bland and unattractive to look at, full of obtrusive advertising and frequently crashes, therefore becoming inaccessible for anything up to 24 hour periods.
Our new purpose built GAP Connah's Quay FC Website provides an attractive and welcoming home page with quick and easy access to news and information about every aspect of the club. Advertising is restricted to the clubâs official sponsors and the site will be used for official club news, plans and developments. It is designed to be user friendly to ensure maximum participation of all of the clubs helpers and supporters and an improved message board has been provided.
