Wingmakers sign Striker Slater from Bluebirds

Striker Paul Hallows has signed for Airbus for another yearAirbus UK Broughton have signed tall striker Jon Slater from Caesws. The St. Asaph born frontman arrived at the Recreation Ground from Llandyrnog Utd in January 2008 and impressed during his short stay with the club.

He made his debut for the Bluebirds as a sub in the 2-1 defeat to Aberystwyth Town on 22nd January, but soon broke into the starting line-up and scored a vital overhead goal in the 1-1 draw with Llangefni in April, having come off the bench. He played 9 (+9) times in all for Caersws, scoring four goals.

He is very tall and excellent in the air and should be a good signing for Craig Harrison, to fill the void left by last year frontman, James McIntosh, who has left for Colwyn Bay.

Further good news for Harrison is that ten players from last years squad have also committed for next season. Goalkeepers Chris Doran and Ashley Crossthwaite, as well as skipper Mark Allen, Gary Lovell, Phil Molyneux, Gareth Caughter, Matthew Woodward, Paul Hallows (pictured), Adam Hunter and Andrew Stockton have all agreed terms for another season.
