Newtown sign Four from Rivals

Caersws captain Andrew Thomas has joined NewtownNewtown AFC have captured the signings of four Caersws players including their former captain Andrew Thomas who has made 421 appearances for the Bluebirds.

Also joining the club is striker Neil Mitchell - who had trained with Welshpool Town last week - and he arrives at Latham Park alongside former Caersws team-mate, striker Mark Griffiths. Fellow forward Marcus Sharrad is another capture and he returns to the Robins after a short spell at the Recreation Ground. Darren Ryan has been very busy on the signing front and has also captured Iwan Williams from Porthmadog and ex-Welshpool Town and NEWI Cefn Druids forward Stuart Vernon from Llandyrnog United.

The majority of last seasons squad have also signed and Ryan hopes to sign up the rest of the squad this week. Those players that have committed to the Robins so far are as follows;

Ian Havard, Dave Jones, Damien Daniels, Adam Worton, Hugh Clark, Andrew Thomas, Neil Mitchell, Mark Griffiths, Stuart Vernon, Marcus Sharrad, Craig Williams, Shane Sutton, Matthew Lewis, Craig Moses, Gareth Mansell, Karl Seliaerts, Richard Williams-Cooke, Tyrone McFadden, Jack Hughes, Jed Rodway, Luke Evans and Barry Bellis.
