HISTORY
Grange Harlequins, who were founded in 1935, had a very brief and miserable flirtation in the Welsh Premier in 2005/2006. The Cardiff based side, who played their home games at Leckwith Stadium, began quite promisingly under the astute Managership of Paul Giles and they recorded some excellent wins in both the League and the League Cup. The club had a natural goalscorer in Chris Summers who consistently found the back of the net in the first two months of the seaosn, and this led to him being awarded the Player of the Month Award for September.

However, things went progressively worse from here for the Cardiff-based club and Paul Giles resigned after the club's budget was severly cut following the withdrawal of the club's main sponsor. An exodus of players saw the 'Quins field a very young and inexperienced side for the rest of the season and they were on the wrong end of several convincing drubbings. After three Manager changes and seventy-one players playing for them in the League in their one and only season, the 'Quins inevitable relegation was confirmed and the club returned to the Welsh League for the 2006/2007 season.
