Idzi replaces Kendall in Semi Pro Quad

Rhyl goalkeeper Lee Kendall has withdrawn from the Wales Semi Professional Squad for next week's Four Nations Tournament in North Wales. His place in the squad is taken by Haverfordwest County stopper Lee Idzi who was named on Stand-By for the squad.

The popular 'keeper lost his father Mark, who died suddenly and was buried on Tuesday in Blackwood and Lee has withdrawn for Personal Reasons.

Wales Manager Tony Pennock said,

"We've allowed Lee as long as possible to decide on whether he wanted to join up with the squad or not and it's totally understandable that he has withdrawn. Our thoughts go out to Lee and his family and I'm sure that the other players in the squad will want to perform for him."

"We've called up Lee Idzi of Haverfordwest County who has enjoyed an excellent season in the Principality Welsh Premier League. He has also played for the Under 23 squad this year and has performed exceptionally well with us. It was reassuring for us that we had quality cover in Lee Idzi and we're looking forward to meeting up on Sunday.
