October Podcast - The Inaugural Recording

October's Podcast Now Available!

In a new communications initiative, The Principality Welsh Premier League launched its "Welsh Premier League Radio" podcast, a monthly show dedicated to the clubs, players, and supporters from the national football competition in Wales.

The Principality Welsh Premier League are proud to be the first national league in the United Kingdom, to boast that it has a monthly Podcast, so each and every month supporters can hear the views of special guests and the latest news from across Wales. October 2006 is the first month available, so take a look straight away to hear the inaugural recording.

John Deakin, Head of Competition at the Football Association of Wales said "We are very excited to be the first national league in Great Britain to launch a dedicated podcast, and we see it as another major step forward in the leagues development. The supporter's satisfaction survey indicated supporters would like a greater dialogue with the league and we hope the podcast will become a popular feature for the league's supporters."

The first podcast features an in depth interview with Sion Jones, producer of the popular S4C magazine show Y Clwb Pel Droed and John Deakin from the Football Association of Wales.
